Rotting food, garbage, etc. attracts flies at home. Flies can be annoying and they can spread diseases. You should make every effort to get rid of them.
Spiders look creepy with eight legs and lots of eyes. They have many hiding places, especially in crannies and small nooks. They start making webs there to trap their prey. Spiders eat small insects like mosquitoes, flies, cockroaches, etc. So, they actually help in pest control.
You should keep your house clean all the time to avoid these common pests. The house must be free of clutter. You should never leave food out and make sure your windows and doors are sealed tight.
